Kate and Stephen were married in July in Kate's hometown in Connecticut. You may remember them from an engagement session I did of them earlier in the summer. Kate's dream was to be married in her childhood garden and then have her reception at the local country club. The WedBoston team had family ties to Kate and put together one of most wonderful weddings I have ever witnessed. The images below are by myself and my second shooter Steve Pugliese. On another note, I again apologize for the negligence in this blog. It has been a very busy season with weddings and Nantucket beach portraits which I hope to post soon.

Please excuse the delinquency of my blog posts! It's high season on Nantucket and I am in the thick of visitors, beach days, cookouts and family beach portraits. I love summer and feel so blessed to live and work on Nantucket.

A great little piece of news is that Bartlett's Farm has published a gorgeous cookbook/coffee table book featuring farm history, recipes from around the island using farm ingredients and my food photography! This was a lot of fun for me to shoot and when we had a book signing the other day many of my clients came in and bought several copies for gifts. I know what all my friends and family are getting for Christmas this year!

It was a gorgeous July day in Boston that Iain and Brigette tied the knot at The Boston Harbor Hotel. I love working there right on the water and it was the first time I worked with one of my favorite brides Alexis O'Mara of Unique Weddings by Alexis. The adorable and yummy cupcakes were by Enchanted Wedding Cakes and the flowers by Winston Flowers. Impress Me Designs did the invitations and lighting was by Suzanne Lowell Lighting Design. Brigette and Iain, I wish you the greatest and most romantic lifetime together!

When Tamar Salter Frieze asked me if I'd like to shoot Emily and Aaron's wedding I became very excited! I photographed Tamar and Keith's wedding a couple winters ago and was excited to work with Tamar on a Boston wedding. Tamar is an amazingly organized planner and her team is really friendly and fun to work with. I met Emily and her mother Harriet at their Boston home and we really hit it off. I love working at the Boston Harbor Hotel as well because they are so professional and helpful and of course the location is gorgeous. In fact, I'm headed up to shoot a wedding there tomorrow and I'm very excited.
